Education

As experts in the field of burn injuries, the burn center conducts valuable education and prevention programs in the communities we serve. The key to burn prevention is to stop the situation before it happens. Our involvement in the community finds us at many health and safety fairs throughout the year, as well as numerous neighborhood events.

We also offer training and education programs that address emergency burn care for area pre-hospital and medical personnel on preliminary assessment and treatment, emergency department care and preparation of patients for transport.
