The 30 bed facility includes:
Intensive Care unit equipped to handle the most severe burn cases.
Intermediate Care unit for patients with less severe burns and for those who have reached a specific stage in healing
Outpatient Burn Services
Surgical Suites available within the center allowing for procedures to be performed when a patient's condition warrants it
Same Day Surgery
Hyperbaric Therapy Unit
Hydrotherapy
Rooftop Heliport giving transferring facilities the option of rapidly transporting patients from surrounding communities
The Grossman Burn Center operates within Sherman Oaks Hospital, where patients receive all the services and support of a large medical system - Emergency Room, state-of-the-art Radiology Department and other important medical services, in a smaller, more personal setting.
