Bakersfield Mayor Harvey L. Hall, with Bakersfield City and Kern County Public Safety and EMS raise funds to support Kern County Burn Survivors and their Families. The goal of the Lights and Sirens Committee is to help burn survivors' transition from surviving to thriving. Proper care of the burn survivor requires a long term commitment as each survivor moves through the many different ages and stages of life, each with its own unique challenges.
