Work place burn injuries account for 8% of the hospitalized injuries reported and are often times the most severe. The Grossman Burn Center treats one of the highest percentages of workplace burn injuries in the nation. Our outpatient clinic treats upwards of 800 workplace burn injuries each year.
Daunting though this specialty may seem, this free webinar will give case managers the tools they will need to refer to the nearest burn center, be acquainted with the terminology and treatment of burn injuries for worker's comp and other insurance communications, and what the typical care is needed post hospitalization.
