This #EMSWeek2018, the Grossman Burn Center celebrated burn survivor Tori Cannon, and the EMS providers involved in her care during Research Medical Center’s annual Great Save Event.

Tori was riding on the back of a motorcycle her husband was driving when traffic suddenly slowed and they were rear-ended. Both of them were pushed into the trunk of the car in front of them. Tori suffered burns on her right leg from the motorcycle exhaust which was pinned against her leg. The first responders quickly stabilized Tori and provided rapid transport to The Grossman Burn Center at Research Medical Center.
