Peter H. Grossman, MD, FACS

Dr. Peter H. Grossman, President of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons, is a Board-certified plastic surgeon whose private medical practice is divided between cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and the care of the burn-injured patient. The diverse nature of Dr. Grossman’s practice and his vast experience as a reconstructive surgeon has made him one of the most sought after surgeons in the region.

 

A graduate of Northwestern University and the Chicago Medical School, Dr. Grossman continued his medical education with a general surgery residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and fellowships in breast reconstructive surgery, aesthetic and endoscopic surgery at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr. Grossman returned to Los Angeles in 1995 and began practice at what has become Grossman Medical Group, Inc.

 

MEDICAL DIRECTOR - GROSSMAN BURN CENTERS

Dr. Grossman is the Medical Director of The Grossman Burn Centers, with several facilities across the United States.  He is on the National Faculty for Advanced Burn Life Support for the ABA and has been appointed as an expert reviewer by the Medical Board of California since 2001.

 

Dr. Grossman is a member of many academic societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Inc. He has authored or co-authored multiple articles in medical journals. He has lectured extensively around the United States on topics related to cosmetic surgery and the treatment of burns.

 

Dr. Grossman’s accomplishments have been featured on national and international television programs, including ABC’s Prime Time Live, The Learning Channel, and the Discovery Health Channel. Dr. Grossman, Grossman Medical Group and the Grossman Burn Centers have established a global reputation for quality patient care treating burn survivors from more than 30 countries around the world.
