With the recent news that Adventist Health Bakersfield (formally San Joaquin Community Hospital) has closed its burn unit, the Grossman Burn Center at Memorial Hospital reassures community members they remain open and committed to Kern County.
The Grossman Burn Center at Memorial Hospital is the first and only Kern County Emergency Medical Services designated burn receiving center in Bakersfield. Residents throughout Kern County suffering from a burn injury will now be directly transported to the world-renowned burn center at Memorial Hospital.
